At just thirty years old, “S” is raising two baby daughters while living with her mother in Petah Tikva after years of heartbreak and instability. After one relationship ended during pregnancy and another partner left when she was expecting, S””courageously chose life for both of her children despite overwhelming financial uncertainty. Unable to afford rent or daycare, she returned home with her first daughter and faced another unexpected pregnancy just one year later. Ashamed and afraid to ask for help again, she finally reached out to her counselor at six months pregnant.
On March 26, Shiraz welcomed her second daughter, Lanu’el — a name meaning “God is ours.” The baby required surgery shortly after birth, but thankfully is now healthy and home. Today, the practical support provided through monthly vouchers, diapers, formula, and even a double stroller is giving “S” something she has not had in a long time: security and hope. Your generosity is helping a young mother provide food, care, and stability for her children — and reminding her that she is not alone.
