At the heart of our ministry is lifting up those who are on the frontlines of the mission field in Israel. We receive their praise reports and prayer requests almost daily and in turn, with their ministry’s permission, we publish these reports in what we call the “Israel Prayer Watch”. This is a bi-monthly publication we produce so that people can follow along and “pray-a-minute-a-day” for a ministry in Israel. In this publication we list the praise reports and prayer requests of 31 different ministries.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. ~ Psalm 122:6
Give HIM no rest till HE establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. ~ Isaiah 62:7
He will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. ~ Hebrews 6:10

For years I (Clyde) have thought about and participated in ‘twenty-four seven’ prayer. Traditionally 24/7 prayer is a call to invite volunteer prayer commitment to fill each hour of an entire week for a given period of time. The challenge of 24/7 prayer for us personally in that our prayer outreach is global. This means operating in all different time zones along with piles of office work to keep track of all the people and hours. In the midst of reflecting on all this a questions came to mind – “How many hours are there in a week?” The answer is quite simple – 24 hours times seven days or 168 hours. Another question followed – “Why not have 168 prayer partners sign up to pray a total of one hour each?” This will still total a week of prayer. That could mean doing one hour straight or six times ten minutes or whatever a given prayer partner chooses to do over each week in the year ahead. As for the focus of prayer for this hour – This would mean that a partner who wishes to engage in this prayer commitment would be committing himself or herself:
- To pray A-Minute-A-Day through the Israel Prayer Watch,
- To pray, praise and give thanks for a total of hour a week
- To be part of the Annual World-Wide Esther Fast as the Holy Spirit leads in the way to participate
- To carry out life giving deeds where you are
All the above will be as we partner with the Jerusalem Prayer Tower to pray for Arab, Jewish and International Ministries in Israel through the Israel Prayer Watch and key e-mail correspondence.
FYI, this years World-Wide Esther Fast [Poster] will be celebrated from Tuesday, October 11th – with registration at 3 pm – to Friday, October 14th, 2016 at 12 Noon – with lunch optional.

One of the most crucial components of our ministry is praying for the body of Christ in Israel. Groups in all parts of the world meet and pray on a regular basis with other believers for the needs of those in Israel.
If you would like to be part of a group that prays for the leaders and the many needs of the ministries in Israel, please be in touch with one of the Israel Prayer Watch Leaders in your area.
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. ~ Isaiah 62:6-7 (NKJV)

Very early Sunday morning September 18, 2011, I (Clyde) had a startling dream about the coming of the Lord. I awoke, crying out at the top of my voice and shaking from head to toe. The following day I arrived late in the evening in the city of Ottawa – our Canadian Capital. It was my first time to be at the National House of Prayer [NHOP] and my first time to stay overnight. Upon entering the main prayer room early Tuesday morning I saw a picture to my left on the wall that showed the same thing I had seen in the dream. I was overwhelmed with awe and sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit in an unusual way. All this happened the opening week of our fall Parliament.
Following the prayer time I was stirred to talk with Fran Parker who gives direction to the NHOP ministry with her husband Rob. I had a question for her: “Could I register as a guest to return and pray the first week Parliament begins September 24 to 28 the following year 2012?”
A second questioned followed: “What could be on the mind of the Lord for this opening week of Parliament? At that point in time all my readings, prayers, visions and dreams were speaking clearly about the salvation of all Israel and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ our Messiah. My prayer was “Oh God, give me understanding—understanding the times.
To begin, I re-read my book “The Esther Fast Mandate” concerning a world wide fast the Holy Spirit birthed in me two years before Marion and I began in full time ministry to Israel in 1985. On the last page I read the following: “Believers everywhere are catching the ongoing vision of the Esther Fast Mandate. They are determined to pray through the promises of God for the Release, Return, Restoration and Revival of Israel and the Church until Messiah comes!
At this point I found myself reviewing pages 25-26 of my book concerning just how the Lord had given me the dates of April 1, 2 and 3 for the World Wide Esther Fast of 1983. That year unbeknownst to me, these dates fell on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday – crossing over with the forth, fifth and sixth day of Passover. As we followed through with the Esther Fast through to 1994 we continued to call the fast on the forth, fifth and sixth of Passover. There is a story of what happened between 1994 and 2011, but that is for another time.
Next, I began to think about the ‘men of Issachar’ – 1 Chron.12:32. My heart was then filled with a spirit of watchfulness, prayer and fasting as I found myself reading Esther, Daniel, Nehemiah and other books of the Bible. Questions came up like – “Who could imagine Esther without thinking about Mordechai and the wicked Haman? And who among believers today could focus on Israel without thinking and comparing Haman to Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? I began to ask how do all could fit together in a message. By now the title was clear – yes – it had to be “Understanding the Times.”
With the above thoughts, and many others, I felt like I did when I was trying to write the Esther Fast Mandate. I needed help to get everything on paper. At this point I turned to Jim Craig who had helped me write the Esther Fast book. As we shared and discussed all – out of the blue Jim remarked, “Clyde, this doesn’t sound like a fast for ‘Passover’ but a fast for ‘Yom Kippur’. I agreed, paused and Jim said, “Wait a minute, let me look up the date on my 2012 calendar for ‘Yom Kippur’. Pause – “it’s September 26th.”
I could hardly believe what I was hearing. “Jim”, I said, “That is in the middle of the week I booked at the National House of Prayer in Ottawa. Needless to say, the Holy Spirit is directing traffic.
There you have it – The story behind the renewing of the World Wide Esther Fast.
