On behalf of the Hatikva Families staff, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support during our Hanukkah season outreach. Your partnership played a meaningful role in the success of one of the largest gift initiatives we have ever carried out.
During Hanukkah, we organized a large-scale gift distribution at the children’s village, providing 430 individual gifts—one for each child—so that every boy and girl could experience joy and celebration during the holiday. The village is a residential home for at-risk children, ages 4–18, who have been placed there by Welfare Services or the courts. Many stay for several years and come from difficult backgrounds, including neglect, abuse, and severe family circumstances. Our mission is to give each child the life they deserve, with dedicated staff providing love, hope, safety, and stability every day.
In addition, 18 large gift packages were prepared and delivered to residential homes and group settings across the campus. This complex effort required significant coordination and teamwork, resulting in a meaningful, wide-reaching impact. Through these gifting and volunteering initiatives, we reinforced a message of care, dignity, and hope, showing how community generosity can profoundly affect vulnerable children and youth. We also received many heartfelt messages of gratitude that deeply encouraged our team.
