Dear Friends,
Thank you very much for your donation for groceries for the February young adults conference. We were able to provide 80 young adults with a fun brunch, shakshuka, breads, cheeses, coffee tea and fruit.
We were so happy to be able to hold this conference in February. It came right before Lion’s Roar shut all activity down for a period of 40 days. Many of these young people were called to serve in reserves and many are already serving. The subject of the teaching was Come to Him – and our teacher focused on Jesus who gives rest for the weary.
Other than worship, and teaching, the time around the brunch includes socializing in fellowship. This is also an important time for the young people, having a listening ear to what you are going through, receiving prayer from a friend, even just hearing that others are going through similar issues and can relate gives these young people strength to continue in their walk with Yeshua, and seeks ways to serve and follow him more deeply.
We are so thrilled to be able to facilitate God’s work through these young adults, and are so thankful to First Century Church for their support to LechLcha to enable us to hold this conference.
