Thank you so much for your recent donation. These funds provided school-supply gift cards for 33 Ethiopian Jewish children living below the poverty line.
The children were selected from families who were unable to provide the school supplies needed for the September 1 start of the school year. Gift cards were purchased in advance from a major school-supply chain, allowing each child to shop according to the list provided by their teachers.
The children were so grateful to be able to purchase everything they needed and arrive at school prepared and ready to learn—just like the other children.
Because of you, these children have been given a greater opportunity to succeed in school, continue through high school, and begin breaking the cycle of poverty.
May each of you be richly blessed for your generosity and for the part you are playing in blessing the nation of Israel.
